Registry Options
Registrars can set options in our Online Service to customise how the EPP and the Web Domain Manager work. These options will affect all of the tools on a tag. Below are the options that can be set:
- Handshake options
This determines how domain names are accepted on to the registrar’s tag. There are four settings. If a handshake is required when a registrar change is requested, an email is sent to the notification address for the registrar (or a poll notification). Registrar change requests not authorised within 5 days are automatically rejected. The default setting in Online Service is ‘Always accept’.
- Tag notification options
This determines how you receive notifications from Nominet about changes to domain names or accounts on your tag.
