- Q: How do I become an approved registrar for .PN?
- A: To become a registrar for .PN you must meet the criteria in the .PN Registrar Eligibility Policy. If you meet the criteria you will need to complete the sign up form here and sign the new RRA in Online Services.
- Q: What are the rules for sunrise?
- A: We will operate a first come-first served sunrise accepting valid SMD files issued by the Trademark Clearinghouse.
- Q: When will Nominet stop accepting manual creates for .PN?
- A: We will stop accepting creates for .PN via email. The exact date is to be announced soon. Any new creates after this date must be done via either Dragon Domain Manager or EPP by an accredited registrar.
- Q: When will Nominet stop accepting manual renewals for .PN?
- A: We will set the date on which direct renewals will cease once the registrar market is ready to support the transfer and renewal of domains.
- Q: What will happen to existing domains?
- A: Registrars, who have signed the .PN Registry-Registrar Agreement, will be able to assume management of their existing portfolio. The exact date this can be done from will be announced.
- Please contact [email protected] with a list of your registered domains requesting they are transferred free of charge to your account.
- Nominet will review the list and confirm that you are the existing billing contact for each domain.
- Once verified, Nominet will transfer each domain into your account at no cost.
- Ongoing management of these domains can then be done via EPP or Dragon Domain Manager with monthly invoicing for transactions.
- Q: Are there any new operational policies for the .PN Registry?

- Q: Can I use an existing account I have with Nominet?
- A: All Pitcairn accounts operate independently of any other account you may have in Nominet’s systems although the same user credentials can be shared across all your accounts.
Technical
The .pn Registry will operate from Nominet’s Registry Services Provider platform used by .cymru, .wales and client registries. This will be fully supported with Dragon Domain Manager, a web portal for managing domains; but for those who wish to carry out a full technical integration please review the EPP instructions.
