Dragon Domain Manager Demo Environment

Functionality Available in the demo environment

Please note that not all .UK functionality will be made available at this time through the ukdemo TLD in Dragon Domain Manager. This trial environment allows .UK registrars to familiarise themselves with the platform ahead of the transition. Registrars managing domains in any registries on the Nominet RSP platform will already be accustomed to the interface.

All prices will be set to £0 purely for testing purposes; you will not be billed for any actions taken in the demo environment of Dragon Domain Manager. You will only be able to create and manage .ukdemo domains. Please note, once the .ukdemo TLD has been enabled on your tag, it will be made available to all user accounts in your organisation.

Sign up process

When signing up for access, you will need to provide:

1. Name – the full name of the individual signing up
2. Email address – the email address currently used to login to Nominet Online Services
3. Organisation name – the name of the Registrar accredited with Nominet
4. UK TAG – If your organisation operates multiple TAGs, please provide one TAG only.
5. Nominet Account ID

Once submitted, the recipient will receive an automated email confirmation. A second email confirmation will follow once the account has been provisioned.

Accessing your demo account

1. Login to Nominet Online Services using the email address provided during sign up
2. Access Dragon Domain Manager via the link displayed on the page:

When first logging into Dragon Domain Manager, there will be no domains visible in the account. It will be possible to start creating domains, contacts and hosts under the .ukdemo TLD for your testing purposes. Please note, the gTLD settings page will not work for the .ukdemo TLD as it has not been linked to OT&E EPP Testbed. The .ukdemo TLD and associated domains, contacts and hosts will be deleted soon before the .UK standardisation on 9th February 2027. This will ensure a clean slate is available for managing you .UK domains, hosts and contacts through Dragon Domain Manager once they are migrated across.
