4th May – Planned System Maintenance
On Wednesday 4th May 2022 essential maintenance will be taking place from 06:00- 08:00 UTC+1 (BST). The following services will be unavailable during this time:
gTLD and UK:
- APIs
- Domain Availability Checker (DAC)
- Dragon
- EPP
- Online Services
- RDAP
- Searchable WHOIS
- Web Domain Manager
- WHOIS
As part of this release we will also be updating the IP addresses associated with UK EPP and the DAC.
What do I need to do?
If you connect to UK EPP or the DAC using IP addresses instead of a hostname you should update your systems to use the following hostnames:
- UK EPP: epp.nominet.org.uk.
- DAC: dac.nic.uk.
If your own firewall:
- does not limit your outgoing connections by destination IP address you do not need to do anything further.
- does limit outgoing connections by destination IP address, you will need to add the new addresses to your ALLOW LIST before this release.
