At a glance

  • On 22nd of May all relevant fields will be set to not disclose.
  • The .UK WHOIS will no longer display the registrant’s name or address unless the registrant has given permission to do so
  • Registrars can disclose the information contained in certain fields using EPP or WDM
  • This page lists examples of EPP commands to set disclose fields and the resultant WHOIS output.
  • The ability to disclose registrant name and/or address through either WDM or online services will be made available on May 22nd 2018

1. Default - create contact without setting disclose fields
