Nominations for Non-executive director elections 2013

We are seeking nominations for member-elected Non-Executive directors. It is an exciting and challenging time for Nominet as we build on our success as a respected registry and respond to a rapidly changing industry. A strong board is key to our success.

Anyone interested in standing for election must be proposed and seconded by members of Nominet but need not be a member of Nominet themselves. Nominations can be accepted until noon on the 30th May 2013.

A candidate pack, with nomination requirements, is now available.

Potential candidates are encouraged to have an informal discussion about the non-executive role with the Chair, Baroness Fritchie. To set this up, or for more information, please contact elections@nominet.org.uk.

The timetable for the Non-executive elections is as follows:

  • Nominations open – 2 May
  • Closing date for nominations – 30 May, 12.00 noon
  • Voting commences – 20 June
  • Voting closes – 22 July, 4.00pm

The Non-executive directors will be appointed after the Annual General Meeting, which will take place in London on Monday, 22nd July at 1.30pm. This year’s venue is the Royal College of Physicians, 11 St Andrews Place, London NW1 4LE.
